Episode One: "The Heart of the Cards"

The introduction is like '90s dubstep. Not as memorable as other TV themes, though. Not something to get stuck in your head. Except for the two sets of lyrics... Nothing says tv theme awards like lyrics that say 'your move' and 'it's time to duel'. Is Yugi like 5? Oh, he just comes from a family of dwarves. And of course, Yugi never got picked on for having a grandpa who owns a game store because back in the early 2000s, it was COOL to have access to a game store at any time. Oh, hi, Brock, I didn't know you gave your voice to an evil business owning high schooler. So, this game KILLS people? Great idea gramps, give the deck that you LOST with to your grandson. You made the deck, put your heart and soul into it and STILL lost... Your soul must be very weak grandpa. Yeah, next time I hang out with my friends and we get separated or something, instead of saying 'I love you' or 'Be safe', I'll just doodle on their hands with a sharpie ...

Introduction

Hi, ScarlettWrites here. This is a written commentary for the 4!Kids Yu-Gi-Oh series. I don't own the show, its characters, etc., etc. I used to watch this show as a kid, I had a shit-ton of cards but somehow it was able to escape my mind until I saw it on Netflix again. It's been sitting on my list for far too long!  I don't know who would read this (or why for that matter), but seeing as I can't just upload episodes of a property online with annotations being the only modification without a million copyright strikes (thanks, YouTube), this is the medium I am forced to use.  So, sit back, relax, and watch someone who hasn't seen a show in over a decade and has completely forgotten most of its key points writer whatever first comes to her mind in a pointless blog.  Warnings 1) The content talked about in this blog is not owned by the blog writer, it belongs to whoever made it.
